Waterloo-Toronto Investor Demo Day

On Tues, Nov 7th, a group (~37) of Waterloo-Toronto area’s best/most investment worthy seed (⅔) and series-A (⅓) ready startups are coming to Mountain View for a no frills, fast paced, investor-only event. The purpose is to create efficiency for both start-ups and investors. Companies will make 3 minute pitches with time allotted for investor:founder discussion/follow-up throughout the event (think YC Demo Day format). Want more exposure to high-potential start-ups from Waterloo/Toronto? This is the easiest and most efficient way to get access.

This is a no B.S., fast paced, investor-only event to help startups building investment momentum. Please note, this event is limited to investors who are prepared to fund seed or series A rounds.

Background: This event is brought to you by a group of Waterloo-Toronto Corridor accelerators and incubators - including Velocity, Communitech, OneEleven, MaRS, DMZ, the Accelerator Centre and more - who have joined forces to vet and assemble the region's most investment-ready startups from Canada's densest tech hub. This event follows an Investor Demo Day in Toronto with Canadian investors on Oct. 19th with the same companies - the Nov 7th version is to get U.S. investors in front of the same group of rising stars north of the border.

9:50 am - 10:10 am - Registration/check-in at Computer History Museum

10:15 am - 12:00 pm - 10 x 3-minute pitches at a time followed by breaks for founder/investor interaction

12:00 pm - 12:45 pm - Lunch + meet with founders

12:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Continue pitches
